»The evening’s main feature is the conducting of Thomas Rösner. In his hands the music lilts and sparkles, and the orchestra dances brilliantly to his tune.«
Stephen Walsh, The Art Desk
Thomas Rösner has enjoyed great success at many opera houses for his interpretations of Viennese classic and in particular Mozart operas – with directors such as Michael Haneke or Robert Lepage- at the Theatre de la Monnaie in Brussels, Zurich Opera, Glyndebourne, Seoul, Quebec, Liège or the Houston Grand Opera.
He has been invited to conduct a huge number of orchestras in Europe, Asia and North America. His interest in forgotten composers such as Paul Kletzki, Czeslaw Marek or Charles Koechlin has led to highly acclaimed recordings with the Bamberger Symphoniker or the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra.
